One of the most popular melas in the city, The Blind School Mela this year will have on offer, home decor, handmade chocolates, organic stores  and traditional clothes, in addition to the usual collection of designer diyas, lanterns, hanging lights, candles and lots of colourful decor to add sparkle to your homes this season

When: 21st -27th October; 12pm – 10pm

Defence Colony Diwali Mela

Known for it’s  lively and fun-filled atmosphere. Innumerable food and shopping kiosks, dance performances , gaming stalls and a DJ for the little dancing feet.

Where:  Gumbad Roundabout, Defence Colony Market

When: 15th -16th October; 2pm – 10pm

Entry : Rs 50

Sunder Nagar Diwali Mela

A favourite among Dilliwallahs for over 50 years, Sunder Nagar Diwali Mela has all it takes to be the most talked about mela in the city. The giant Ferris Wheel, magic shows, food stalls, home decor, handicrafts, clothes, accessories and a contagious festive air.

When: 22nd – 23rd October ; 4pm – 11pm

Where: Colony Park, Near Delhi Public School, Sunder Nagar

Entry: Rs 100

K’s Kitchen

Having a Konkani Diwali bash – bookmark K’s Kitchen. Vindaloos, Masala Fish Fry, Moilee and more – made from recipes passed down through generations. Orders need to be placed 24 hours in advance, at least. For a big enough event, they do live stations as well, but most of their events are 50 people or under.
